I only leave mp3s up for a short while. Most of the MP3s I post have been made freely available by the artists. If you represent the artist and you want an MP3 removed, please email me and I will remove it immediately. Support the artists you love. Buy their music (you can legally download most stuff you find here very reasonably from eMusic), attend live shows, and if you can afford it, get the T-shirt.

Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks - REM Medley
La Blogotheque presents Stephen Malkmus (ex-Pavement) and his band the Jicks fooling around trying to play a bunch of old REM songs--Don't Go Back to Rockville and 7 Chinese Bros. from 1984's Reckoning, and Driver 8 and Good Advices from 1985's Fables of the Reconstruction. One problem is that no one in the world, including Michael Stipe, has a clue to the lyrics of these songs.
